حدّد أين تُخزَّن البيانات وأين تُعالج، وليس أين يقع المقر. الفرق بين منطقة التخزين ومنطقة النسخ الاحتياطي قد يكون حاسماً.Determine where data is stored and processed, not where the head office sits. The difference between the storage region and the backup region can be decisive.

من يستطيع الوصولWho can access it

الوصول من دعم المزوّد يجب أن يكون محدداً ومسجّلاً وبموافقتك. اسأل: هل يوجد وصول دائم؟ هل يُسجَّل؟ من يوافق عليه؟Provider support access should be limited, logged and subject to your approval. Ask: is there standing access, is it logged, and who approves it?

الالتزامات التنظيميةRegulatory obligations

بعض الجهات وقطاعات النشاط لها متطلبات في موقع البيانات أو نقلها. المتطلبات تختلف بحسب النشاط والجهة التنظيمية، وتُتحقق قبل التصميم لا بعده.Some entities and sectors have requirements on data location or transfer. Requirements differ by activity and regulator, and are verified before design, not after.

الخروجExit

اسأل: كيف نستخرج بياناتنا بصيغة قابلة للاستخدام؟ وكم يستغرق؟ وهل تُحذف نسخ المزوّد بعد الانتهاء؟ التكلفة الحقيقية تظهر عند الخروج.Ask: how do we export our data in a usable format, how long does it take, and are provider copies deleted at the end? The real cost appears at exit.

النسخ والاستعادةCopies and restore

من يملك النسخ الاحتياطية، وأين تقع، وكيف تُختبر؟ النسخة غير المُختبرة ليست ضماناً. اتفاقية الاستعادة يجب أن تحدد الأهداف بوضوح.Who holds backups, where do they sit, and how are they tested? An untested backup is not a guarantee. A recovery agreement should state objectives clearly.

التكلفة الشفافةTransparent cost

رسوم الخروج، حركة البيانات، التخزين الزائد، والدعم الإضافي بنود تُنسى في المقارنة. اطلب نموذج تسعير لثلاث سنوات لا لشهر.Egress fees, data movement, extra storage and premium support are forgotten in comparison. Ask for a three-year pricing model, not a monthly one.
